Abandoned Houses
Hollow echo
Creaking open
Stale.
Broken glass
Sunlight. Dust.
Still.
Silent? Not silent.
Flies buzzing.
Footprints in dust.
Large room.
Loneliness, but not alone.
Quietness, but not silent.
Someone is speaking loudly here
In the stillness.
